  • 白色粉末。
    質(zhì)地柔軟的無(wú)嗅無(wú)味的白色粉末，遮蓋力和著色力強(qiáng)，溶點(diǎn)1560～1580℃。不溶于水、稀無(wú)機(jī)酸、有機(jī)溶劑、油，微溶于堿，溶于濃硫酸。 遇熱變黃色，冷卻后又變白色。金紅石型（R型）密度4.26g/cm3，折射率2.72。R型鈦白粉具有較好的耐氣候性、耐水性和不易變黃的特點(diǎn)，但白度稍差。銳鈦型（A型）密度3.84g/cm3，折射率2.55。A型鈦白粉耐光性差，不耐風(fēng)化，但白度較好。近年來(lái)發(fā)現(xiàn)納米級(jí)超微細(xì)二氧化鈦（通常為10～50 nm)具有半導(dǎo)體性質(zhì)，并且具有高穩(wěn)定性、高透明性、高活性和高分散性，無(wú)毒性和顏色效應(yīng)。
